Bio Ariadne, first thing to point out, isn’t one to complain often – if ever, it’s more often than not hidden under sarcastic comments, or too quiet for anyone to hear. She cares about what others think about her, perhaps too much – she’d sacrifice her own temporary security in order to be liked more by those around her since that is the higher goal. Friendships…well they don’t come easily. She’s doubtful of those who reach out to her, though she desperate craves companionship. It takes her awhile to finally become ‘comfortable’ with someone, and trust them. Any favor given to Ariadne – she’ll do her best to return it. Even if others don’t believe in this system, it’s very important to her. And she believes other should embrace it. The Gods, in Ariadne’s mind, are meddlers. Meddlers who get in the way of everything, and you know what – she’s willing to say this. She’s on the same footing as them now, right? The least she can do is aim a few insults at the immortals as a whole. Poseidon, in particular, is a good source of blame for all that’s happened to her. He’s why the bull showed up, why her mother went mad, can be blamed for Theseus’ arrival…the irony that she became one of these immortals is decisively annoying at this time. Mainly, willing to go with the flow on things – Ariadne’s one demand is to not be alone, as she’s developed monophobia while on her time on Naxos. (For clarification, I’m assuming it was three days that she was there). She’s willing to be put aside temporarily for time later – but she wishes to be at least by other people, even if not given attention. Thus, when given a chance for company– she’ll mostly go along with it. The daughter of Minos and Pasiphae of Crete, also the sister of Androgeus, Glaucus, Phaedra, Acacallis, Asterion aka the Minotaur, Deucalion, and Catreus. Married to Dionysus and with him is the mother of Thoas, Staphylos, Oinopion, Peperarethos, Phliasos, and Eurymedon. |
